Odyssey was founded by Amalia and Mike, two longtime colleagues who shared a belief: training should drive real, lasting change — not just check a box.
After years of facilitating “off-the-shelf” programs that fell short, they created Odyssey — a people-first consulting firm grounded in empathy, practicality, and performance.
Meet Amalia Moukas
Founder & Principal Consultant, Odyssey Consulting
Amalia brings over 25 years of experience in leadership development, team building, communication, sales, and coaching.
She’s known for bridging the gap between learning and impact. At TIAA, she launched the company’s first corporate sales training program and earned the Chairman’s Award for measurable results.
Across industries, she has helped teams and individuals grow, perform, and lead with confidence.
Amalia holds a degree from Fordham University, is certified in behavioral assessments, and is a Certified Professional in Management through the American Management Association. She is also certified in DiSC, Emotional Intelligence, and is a Certified Career Coach.
Meet Mike Cox
Founder & Principal Consultant, Odyssey Consulting
Mike brings over 29 years of leadership experience, most notably from his tenure at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, where he led high-performing teams and helped develop future managers.
Known for his engaging facilitation style and real-world approach, Mike has delivered hundreds of top-rated seminars and workshops across industries.
He is an expert in management, leadership, conflict resolution, and strategic thinking, and is certified in DiSC®, Situational Leadership, Emotional Intelligence and Executive Coaching through the Professional Business Coaches of America.
Mike holds an MBA in Marketing from St. Joseph’s University and a BS from the University of Maryland.
